Blackhorse Apiary and Woking Borough Council's LA21 group have arranged an event at the apiary as part of the group's Gardening For life project. Broadly based on a 'Bees and the Environment' theme the event will provide an introduction to bees and beekeeping, a guide to the conservation of honeybees and wild bees, and a tour of the apiary to see beekeeping, and the conservation of our native aculeates, in practice.
